ATLANTA — When the 2023 Casual Market opens in Atlanta next week, Sunset West will welcome buyers to a larger showroom than the company’s previous space in Chicago and one filled with introductions, best-sellers, and new collections designed to fill the room.
“We are thrilled to have a larger space that will allow us to present our product line in a much more meaningful way for the inaugural show on the east coast,” said Aliena Klaus Squire, vice president of marketing with Sunset West. “The relocation of the show to Atlanta combined with the cross-category buying and selling opportunities that present themselves in AmericasMart will provide us with an opportunity to reach an even wider audience of buyers.”
New product launches for Sunset West include Sedona, a mixed material group featuring teak and resin wicker, and Bahia, a cushion-less rope seating group. Sedona showcases a weathered coastal teak finish and rounded edges reminiscent of midcentury silhouettes, while Bahia features a handwoven rope seat deck and back in a variety of seating options.
“Thoughtfully designed, the pitch, seat height and radius all come together to provide maximum comfort — even without a cushion,” Squire said. “They also add to our quick ship program because as don’t require any customization.”
Sunset West is also expanding its popular Coastal Teak line with a new adjustable chaise, barstool, and armless dining chair. Officials noted that the collection features a unique multi-step finish that gives the natural wood a warm grey color that develops a natural patina over time.
The Bazaar collection will also be expanded with new accent end tables designed to complement existing collections.
“New pieces in Bazaar include curated items that help to ‘break up’ the traditional ‘set,’” Squire said. “The pieces inject some fun mixed materials and colorways into the line that are designed for use in both indoor and outdoor living spaces.”
The new products will debut in the Sunset West showroom located in AmericasMart, space 12, A5 during the Casual Market, July 10 – 13th.
