Thanks for the info! It’s great to have more centers completely devoted to cognitive-behavioral therapy. Anxiety and panic attacks have become so prevalent, especially in New York, that I think it’s important to have devoted centers not only to help people, but also to show everyone that it is important and that anxiety is a disease.
I really enjoy your blog and all that you post. Quick question, have you heard of the Linden Method? It is hard to find good information on it.
Hello Liz,
I have indeed heard of the Linden method — it is one of several methods that are available for a price, often through a website. Since they are secretive about what the method is, I cannot really attest to whether it is likely to be helpful or not. Typically such sites will be very heavy on praise for the method, but very light on description of what the method is. Thus, there is just not much good information to go on.
