Traveling furniture sales rep for 5 state territory to include: OH, Penn, West VA, MI, IN

The sales representative will be an exclusive Agent of Hjort Knudsen furniture and will travel to clients within the designated territory and open new accounts for sales. Employee will be expected to be out in the territory & on the road traveling 5 days a week unless arranged with home office in the Charleston, SC. (minimum 40 weeks on the road).

Qualifications: Highschool Diploma/1-3 years sales experience/Valid driver’s license &clean driving record(no DWI)/valid car insurance.

There is a set non-negotiable pay scale for monthly compensation with commission rate & an initial base salary that will decrease as volume of sales provides commensurate commission to sustain reasonable/comparable income. There is a reimbursed stipend for travel which includes lodging, meals, and gas for the company vehicle. Annual potential income w/ combined base salary & commission $80,000-160,000, & paid travel expenses.*(detailed pay structure to be reviewed during interview.)

*This is a 1099 position, and the employee will be expected to file his/her own taxes according to the USA IRS federal and state guidelines.
