Iman Schrock is one of the few furniture industry executives with a PhD, and likely the only one with a PhD in organizational psychology. But that expertise has been a cornerstone of his success as president and CEO of publicly traded GigaCloud Technology, a leading B2B marketplace for furniture and other bulky products.
Under his leadership, the company has amassed hundreds of vendors and thousands of retail participants, offering more than 15,000 SKUs in its digitized catalog. The company also provides an array of logistics services ranging from ocean freight to white glove delivery.
In his spare time, Schrock is also an accomplished university professor, teaching across a range of disciplines including business, economics and organizational psychology.
